VoWiFi
VoWiFi (Voice over WiFi) is a smart terminal enabling users to make HD voice and video calls by dialing in WiFi environment. Juphoon VoWiFi solution includes two forms: Native and APP. The integration of Native and chips enables the smart terminal to possess VoWiFi. Therefore, users can make calls through the phone's native dial pad, have access to the network through WiFi, and enjoy HD voice and video call, which can also be switched with VoLTE. The APP can be installed into user's mobile phone. When there is no 4G base station or the 4G signal is weak, HD voice and video calls can be achieved by specific WiFi. For example, if an aircraft is equipped with WiFi without 4G signal coverage, you can make HD voice and video calls through VoWiFi APP.
Functions
Use high-resolution codec technology to provide higher call quality and lower access delay for users with high voice and video quality.
Establish IPSec channel between WiFi terminal and ePDG to ensure the secure transmission of information.
Combined with VoLTE, user terminals can be switched between WiFi and LTE base stations to ensure voice continuity.
